Visitors on July 16th, 2015

 

It seems that whenever we are working at the Historic School House folks see us and stop by to chat.  This is such a blessing.

 

When we bought our home, down the road from the School House, one of my first tasks was cleaning the attic.  It seemed to have about a hundred years of slate dust and with an outside temperature of 90 degrees it had to be well over 120 degrees inside.  A neighbor from Bollinger used take a daily walk down Church Road and when he reached our house he would shout up to me "Tony time to take a break.  Come down here right now and offer me a cold drink."

 

It is with the same relief that I welcome folks when they stop by and force me to take a break from work.
